Rate:   $140K - $160K +bonus

        

Description:   

Must have Pharmaceutical or Biotech and a 4 year degree PLUS demonstrated experience with both portfolio and project management.

 

Requirements:

.Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

.Requires demonstrable experience of managing large, complex IT portfolios

.Requires demonstrable experience of managing IT projects

.PMP or Prince2 qualified preferred

.Knowledge / qualification in IT standards such as ITIL

.Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry

.Demonstrable knowledge, experience and capabilities in: financial planning and evaluation, business plan development, investment modeling, portfolio planning, and Request, Project and Program methodologies and lifecycles, e.g. SDLC

.Demonstrable experience of working with multiple On-shore and off-shore Managed Service Providers and working in and with a matrixed IT and Business Organization

.Strong communication and presentation (verbal and non verbal) skills, including presentation to C-level

.Excellent relationship Management/Networking: highly collaborative mindset

.Strong analytical skills and demonstrable competence in Business Analytic and Dashboard technology

.Conversant in Investment modeling and ROI / TCO assumptions and calculations

.Advanced Business Analysis ability - including process analysis skills and process mapping experience

.Project and program management experience across multiple IT areas

.Advanced influencing and negotiation skills

.Advanced financial Management including budget preparation and monitoring

.Project Portfolio Analysis - including the management of key project and program inter-relationships

.Must have strong MS office skills including Project.

.Service Management and Project Management systems experience essential

 

 

.Maintain the portfolio view of projects which will support the functional area strategy and objectives. Responsible for making portfolio (ROI based prioritization, composition), scheduling and risk recommendations to Head of functional IT area and Head of PMO. (Goal is to optimize the structure the functional project portfolio in a manner enables the functional and IT leadership to make the best investment decisions based on value, priority, and constraints (resource, technology, etc.)

.Note: this is not a project delivery role, but does provide portfolio progress oversight
