Description:    Conceive, develop, and implement new processes. Provide engineering technical support and coordinate activities for the installation, debug and setup of equipment and tooling on new processes into an integrated manufacturing system. 

Interface and work with groups on improved processes required for product launches. Provide engineering assistance during the launch. Identify, justify and implement continuous improvements in manufacturing processes and procedures. 
Develop functional specs, evaluate quotes for technical and financial merit, and initiate purchase requisitions for the procurement of capital equipment and tooling. 
Conceive, develop, and implement new processes to improve efficiencies, increase productivity, or improve quality. Work with Product Engineering/Operations to identify, and justify and develop new and improved processes required for new product launches. 


**25% - 50% travel required (normally to Canada or Mexico.) 

Basic personal computer experience and experience with software applications. Requires computer skill in Autocad, word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Basic report writing skills. General knowledge of GT&T tolerancing and basic blueprint reading. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with advanced quality tools. Good communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with DFA/DFM principals. Troubleshooting engineering problems and initiate corrective actions. Project management skills. 

Candidate Must Have : 5 + years,BS in Engineering (mechanical or electrical concentration) required,Braking & Suspension experience,Module Assembly experience

Basic Qualifications

Description:    Responsible for the Engineering department, and overall power plant technical issues. This includes Engineering leadership, resolving all technical service issues, monitoring trends in engine hardware reliability and engine performance, providing technical substantiation and implementation of cost reduction initiatives, dispositioning non-conforming material, initiating repairs and inspection criteria to extend hardware service life, engine work-scope definition, assembly and test cell support, and generally managing technical projects. 

Provide technical assistance to Quality, Operations, New Product Introduction, Customers, and other organizations. Make recommendations for product requirements or process improvements. Perform assignments requiring ingenuity and originality but based on sound engineering principles. 

Interact with support groups and departments. Participate in teams assigned to address organizational initiatives. Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical, project and program reviews. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 4-year Bachelor of Science degree and 5 - 15 years of Engineering/ Manufacturing experience. 
• Extensive and demonstrable experience in data analysis, problem solving, and solution implementation. 
• Proven leadership skills exercised at all levels – individual, team, organization. 
• Extensive experience in continuous improvement methodology like ACE, Lean and Kaizen. 
• Strong understanding of and utilization of EH&S and quality management systems and processes. 
• Strong project management experience 
• Strong technical customer relations skills. 
• Strong presentation skills: able to convey ideas to multiple disciplines or multiple levels of the organization 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 10 years of Engineering experience plus 3-5 years of leadership/management experience 
• Aerospace Engineering degree Mechanical Engineering degree Industrial Engineering degree Masters degree 
• Experience on engine models (PT6, JT15D, PW300, PW500) 
• Hands-on leader in the direction, training, mentoring and development of technical individual and teams. 
• Experience in supervision/management in an aerospace aftermarket service environment

Must be willing to work extended hours occasional travel
