Description:	REQUIREMENTS  4+ years of accounting experience  Experience with preparing financial statements and SEC 10-Q/Ks  Working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations  Moderate to strong working knowledge of FASB accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial services industry  Able to identify, research and offer recommended solutions for moderate to complex financial reporting issues  Strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks  Strong written and oral communication skills  Strong proficiency in Excel and Word  Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team  Preferred Skills  CPA (or CPA candidate) with at least four years of related experience (preferably at least two years in public accounting and auditing)  Experience with general ledger and Hyperion Essbase  Understanding of XBRL requirements and experience with XBRL tagging  Project management experience  RESPONSIBILITIES  Become a member of the SEC Reporting Group, a group that prepares the 10-Ks, 10-Qs and quarterly Earnings Releases to be filed with the SEC.  The position requires a very good understanding of FASB, SEC and other sources of accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial services industry, application of those requirements to the businesses of the Company, and the ability to spot data issues through analysis of financial detail from the general ledger and off-ledger information provided by Company business units.  You will also be involved with the implementing new FASB and SEC rules and regulations and must be able to understand and communicate complex accounting issues. You may interact with many important financial and reporting groups of the firm. As part of this, you will be expected to develop an understanding of their businesses, products, systems, key sources of financial reporting information, and other matters important to help gather and explain the Company s financial results to the public.  Email resume in Word to TheBigGameHunter@cisny.com.
