Infrastructure Operations
• Propose and drive implementation of Infrastructure Service delivery procedures based on best practices:
o COBIT Adherence to COBIT Guidelines§
o ITIL Maintenance of internal§ controls and all operational procedures in accordance to ITIL standards.
§ Support, maintain and enhance the capabilities of the Altiris tool for administration of the Service management practices.
Define and implement§ continuous improvements to Change Management & Configuration Management processes.
Provide Asset Management reporting to categorize and report on§ IT assets and develop reporting to link infrastructure costs to service categories and business channels.
Provide Service Level management§ reporting to categorize and report on the metrics regarding:
o ISO 17799
Adoption, where appropriate of ISO 17799 security§ standards

Monitoring & Reporting
• Responsible for proactively monitoring and reporting on Infrastructure Services including gathering and reporting systems availability, performance and volume metrics, both in business and IT terms.
Data Center Operation
• Set technical direction and take ownership for systems monitoring and performance management of overall infrastructure.
• Maintenance of, and improvement, to overall system uptime performance
• Overall responsibility for Data Center environments

Infrastructure Disaster Recovery

Service Desk Operations

Infrastructure Projects
• Coordinate technical reviews with other IT groups to develop and document infrastructure architecture and design.

Vendor Management

Budget Management

Service Levels
• Work with Discipline Managers to develop and document Service Level Agreements with Project Sponsors and/or key stakeholders.
• Ensure that all acceptance criteria have been satisfied.

Training
• Attend seminars and training to maintain a high level of familiarity with project management tools, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure all infrastructure teams are adequately skilled and resourced for business continuity.
Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related program and a minimum of 10 years of experience in an Information Technology Infrastructure support capacity.
o Minimum of five years experience successfully managing multiple concurrent projects
o 3 to 5 years experience in Service Management Delivery and Support
o Experience in staff management including setting objectives, resource planning and performance management.
o Demonstrated leadership skills
o Broad-based knowledge of overall system and network architecture and technologies; minimum of 10 years experience.
o Working knowledge of hardware, software and operating systems including UNIX, Windows 2000/2003, Oracle, Desktop Technologies, WAN/LAN networking, DNS, NAS/SAN, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, /IP, Cisco Product line, Network and System Security concepts
o Refined negotiating skills
o Presentation and facilitation skills
o Three or more years experience with Microsoft Project
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Basic understanding of business finance principles: capitalization, expense, forecasting.
o Demonstrated ability to drive and challenge a team
o Skilled at conflict resolution
o Detail oriented
o ITIL foundations certification. Prefer manager or practitioner certification.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing proposals and giving presentations
o Interpersonal skills necessary to manage in a team-oriented environment and interact with all levels of the organization to promote the Service Management program.

Open position exists for a Program Chief Engineer on the Bombardier C-Series development program responsible for the design and certification of the Electrical Power System. The Program Chief Engineer is the technical focal point of all aspects of the program through certification and is the technical leader of the functional team assigned to the program. The Program Engineer is expected to work closely with the Program Manager and the external customer (Bombardier) on a daily basis to ensure both internal and customer expectations are met. This position requires excellent communication skills and dedication to complete and follow through on program actions.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:

• Technical planning, execution, management and leadership of the development and functional support team
• Assist the Program Manager in resource and change management
• Control the program infrastructure such as:
o WBS, IMS, EVMS, Doors
o Program files
o Budget estimates
o Technical correspondence
o Action items and distribution lists, etc.
• Design control, adhere to Standard Work, PMSS, and HS processes and procedures
• Provide assistance to the PM on a daily basis, conduct customer telecons, hold reviews with HS management
• Focal point with the Customer on all technical aspects of the system and LRUs
o Conduct both internal and customer design reviews
o Manage schedule milestones
o Maintain action item log

Candidate Must Have :
* BS in Engineering
* 10 Years Techncial Leadership Experience
