They would like someone who has run a life sciences practice and has a data warehouse and business intelligence experience, comes from consulting, is open to travel. 

Position can be based anywhere in te USA BUT you need to be open to 80% travel.

Business Operations Manager NYC

Description:    3-5 years of experience working with technical teams in developing cross-functional deliverables, as well as diverse experience in managing budgeting and finances for a department focused on software delivery 

An understanding of software delivery, asset management, and the business operations of a growing platform as a service company 

Facility with modeling, managing large data sets, and working with numbers 

Clearly communicate project issues and resolution to clients and internal teams 

Proven ability to manage relationships, both internally and with clients 

Excellent analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills 

Collaborate across Technology and Finance Executives to track and forecast finances, manage new IT vendor contracts and relationships, and identify and report on KPIs for the technology organization 
Work closely with the Professional Services and Finance organizations on all aspects of service deployment planning, including scope and cost estimate, contract phase, support model and execution 
Manage contract negotiations with IT vendors supporting internal operations and external service delivery to ensure contracts match budget forecasts 
Forecast and plan hardware and software inventory for internal and external services to deliver against revenue goals 
Identify KPI’s for internal and external services, provide a framework for continual monitoring and measurement of KPIs, and provide quarterly reports on performance 

Plusses: 
A Masters in Business Administration 
Experience in mobile software development 
Experience in K-12 Education
