Project-Focused Responsibilities:
•New Functionality Releases: Responsible for a subset of the testing the customization and integration work associated with the expansion of the current PeopleSoft baseline to include new modules and/or new functionality to existing modules.
• Existing Functionality: Responsible for testing across multiple environments, related to fixes/patches, enhancements and upgrades to existing functionality including testing code changes to existing objects, interfaces and conversions necessitated by data fixes, functionality patches, and upgrades; as well as production support tasks related to the identification, tracking and resolution of issues found in the production environment.
Requirements
Possess a thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies; Experience with Peopletools, upgrade/patch testing, ERP Technical Architecture, and blackbox testing; Experience creating testing deliverables that include Test Strategies, Cases and Scripts. Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, recreation and documenting the impact on the system overall) Experience testing PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades. Thorough knowledge performing data analysis using PeopleTools (SQR and SQL). Functional knowledge of HR Benefits and Payroll administration processes. Experience testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces. Experience using Rational Suite (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Req Pro, Clear Case and Clear Quest) Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations. Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment. Excellent communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. Experience working within a matrix environment.
