This individual will serve as a SAP Application Functional Specialist, providing application functional support and implementation in SAP. Applications R/3, in the module areas of FI-Finance (GL, SPL, FM, AP, AR), CO Controlling. The SAP Application Functional Specialist will be very knowledgeable with required SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules and SAP's Business Warehouse. This individual will develop and maintain the configuration and functional design documents and support role based profile changes. The individual is expected to perform all task in the development cycle, starting from business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to post-live. Bachelors Degree; Field of study: Finance, Banking, Business, CPA, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Math Skills: SAP Financials; comprehensive knowledge with abilty to make sound judgements.(Extensive and comprehensive experience). Job Description:	RAF 012113 - Sr. DBA/Data Architect/D26 - NYC - In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of Database Administration in support of the institutional data warehouse and related data mart(s) utilizing IBM DB2 for ZOS and DB2 UDB on AIX. The enterprise data warehouse is a central component of the information gathering and delivery BI architecture that supports operational reporting and clinical research initiatives. You will perform database development and support of institutional operational data store, management of the related DBMS objects, assist in the installation, upgrade and testing of the warehouse system components, perform logical and physical database design including 3NF and dimensional modeling. You will be responsible for implementing security strategy, database maintenance and optimization.  Further responsibilities include database performance monitoring and tuning, review and tuning of complex B1 SQL queries, planning/implementing backup and recovery strategies. You will participate in developing data architecture and database management policies/standards and procedures.  As a warehousing team member you will support and provide required guidance to the ETL development group.  We require:   A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, MIS or a related field with 8 years of experience with database development and administration, a minimum of 3 years of DBA experience with DB2/UDB version 8 and/or 9 and 5+ years of experience in supporting a large DW environment.      Excellent SQL programming skills, UNIX support skills are critical.   Good knowledge of the ERWIN modeling tool, experience in supporting ETL development along with prior work experience with a health care organization is preferred.  Working knowledge of storage configuration and management, federated DBMS environments, experience with XML technologies, SQL server, is a plus. f The ideal candidate will be highly self-reliant and motivated, and be able to take ownership of tasks through completion. Strong problem solving, leadership and communication skills are essential.  Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday.  Available for on-call coverage during the weekends and implementations. Require to participate in 24/7 on call rotation.

We are seeking an SAP MDM Senior Managing Consultant who will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of SAP MDM technology initiatives on Industrial Sector projects. Purpose of Role

 

The position will encompass:

·         Re-design and architect the current Sybase database structure.

·         Migrate current Sybase databases servers to Oracle environment.

·         Create and maintains a data architecture to increase the robustness, performance and scalability of the entire system.

·         Establish an architecture roadmap for on-going and future application development.

·         Design and extend the webservice layer that insulates the DB from all application layer

·         Contribute to the system architecture and take ownership of the design and development of the DB layer.

·         Establish coding standards for all stored procedures, triggers and logical and physical schema design and enforce and review the standards within the development team.

·         Fine tune sql queries and database performance for all applications within the development environment

·         Participate in design, code reviews, documentation of design, and implementation of methodologies for all databases.

·         The individual will also oversee a 3-4 persons database development team

 

 

Professional Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in design and architect database and data warehouse technologies.
• Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills.
• Expert on DBMS with distinguished achievements on database query optimization.
• Proven success in performance optimization.
• Proven track record in building and operating highly scalable databases across multiple locations
• Strong technical leadership skills with extensive hands on experience.
• Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
• Must have multi database server environment experience, Sybase, SQL server and Oracle.
•  JAVA, Perl, UNIX shell language is a must.
• MS in Computer Science degree is preferred.
• Investment banking experience is a plus.
