Senior Business Analyst/Data Analyst

Client is seeking individuals who perform quality and quantity work, on
a timely basis for the Business/Data Analyst position for the ePACE
project team.

Requires:
8 to10 years experience working in a financial industry with a solid
background in portfolio accounting and a technical background
Ability to write his/her own SQL to compare and contrast data from
different sources.

Basic understanding of data modeling and design is a plus. Preference
for an individual who's past experience includes extensive
data migration work where data has been transformed during the data
migration process

The Job:

This person will be required to produce functional specifications for
developers in the following areas: *Primary Responsibility -Data
Migration - Prepare technical uploader and/or exporter specifications
based upon internal systems, vendor, or client requirements.
*Secondary or Possible Back Up Responsibility -Prepare panel/GUI
requirements for Account/Portfolio Reference Manager system.
Consultation with departments such as Data Administration, Corporate
Finance and Corporate Legal are required.
-Prepare panel/GUI requirements for pricing views. Consultation with
Pricing Operations department is required.
*Other Responsibilities
-Coordinate integration testing with all interfacing applications (host
meetings, update project plans)
-Coordinate user sign off

Individual must be a flexible, team player who can support several
projects simultaneously. As a senior team player, this individual must
also use previous work experience to provide team with value added
suggestions and ideas on how
to improve process and workflow

Salary: 100,000.00-120,000.00

Senior Windows Developer

 

 

The purpose of this role is to develop and support global implementation  for equity derivatives desks within Capital Markets. This encompasses functions within Front Office, Risk Management, Finance Accounting, and Operations. The senior developer role architects solutions and provides technical leadership and mentoring to the junior members.  This person is responsible to successfully develop technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder requirements while demonstrating high levels of quality and productivity.

 

Technical Skills 5 – 8 years of development experience within Windows platform. Proficient in VC++, C#, and .NET platform Experience developing, maintaining, and deploying global enterprise quality Trading applications that encompasses Front to Back. Excellent knowledge of object oriented languages and design patterns. Solid knowledge of XML parsing, DTD and schema. Solid knowledge of SQL and database, with experience and   good understanding of database concepts (Sybase, Oracle and/or MS SQL). Working knowledge of messaging systems (TIBCO RV, MQ) not a must but a nice to have Must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree or equivalent

Business Knowledge Understanding of equity derivatives. Experience developing global technology systems within capital markets. Understanding of some functions within Front Office, Risk Management, Finance Accounting, and Operations (not across all but specific areas).

Develop software components and systems based on technically sound design that comply with acceptable standards.

 

Must possess strong overall knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle which includes strong skills in process management

 

Thorough knowledge of testing and configuration management

 

Able to design and develop robust systems that minimizes maintenance costs.

 

Able to meet project deadlines and work to meet timely delivery schedules.

 

Work closely with QA to ensure that solutions are of high quality; e.g. accurately implement the specifications and are thoroughly tested.

8 Desk Top Support Contracts Jersey City

Looking to bring on a new team of  8 Desk Top consultants. These consultants will be placed in one of two midtown locations or  at the Jersey City site. There are 800 users within these three environments.

 

They are running Windows, Exchange and Office Suite.  Candidates also need to have a basic understanding of networking. These roles will work across all areas of business including the trading floor.

 

Candidates should have certs and three years experience and some time in a financial company. Good communication skills are also important.

 

Rates are important I would like to keep it between 32 – 38/hour to the  consultant corp to corp
