Premier Global firm is looking for innovative and ambitious Murex Limit Controller (MLC) experts to join our Financial Services Package Integration team with a focus on Murex (MX and MLC). Murex practice provides end-to-end Murex package implementation, upgrades between different Murex versions, Murex application support, integration, testing and migration of Murex for our clients.

Skills and Experience Required (MLC specific):
· At least 3 years of working experience around MLC (standalone as well as integrated version)
· Functional understanding and appreciation of the core MLC modules – Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Collateral management
· Able to create/define new risks (mainly Credit risks), define limits and scheme columns, understanding of the consolidation levels and time/group structure.
· Familiarity with the MLC end-user modules – Limits monitor, Collateral monitor, Static data configuration and definitions
· Expert in configuration and execution of MLC LTS tasks from the backend. Understanding of the MLC Reset (MLC EOD) process and the concept of engines in MLC
· Technical knowledge of installation of MLC (both standalone and integrated), MLC directory (file) structure, key MLC configuration files, connectivity to MLC database (SQL query)
· Understanding of the MLC Reporting module (LRB) and configuration/customization of LRB reports
· Business Knowledge in some of the products – FX/MM, IRDs, Fixed income, Equities, Credit, Commodities
· Familiarity with Mx 3.1 – standard Mx functions (trade query, simulation viewers, knowledge of MxML etc). This is essential as the new version of MLC is integrated as a service within MX3.1. Knowledge in MxML (MX3.1) is very important, as some events in MLC communicates with Murex via MxML

Roles and Responsibilities in a typical MLC project:
· Liaise with the client stake holders and business representatives to understand the project requirements and translate into functional requirements documents
· Involved in the design workshops, as most MLC implementations are following MxPress methodology going forward
· Manage the communication channel between multiple parties – client stake holders, and client project team, Murex vendor, business users etc
· Involvement in the implementation of MLC (one of more modules) as part of standalone installation or MX 3.1 integration
· Design and development of the MLC modules as per the project plan (in phases)
· Working with the testing team to create the MLC specific test cases to be used during SIT and UAT phases and also execution of the test cases to ensure business sign-off is obtained
· Provide post-implementation support over a certain period by tracking defects and ensuring timely resolution of issues

Educational Requirements

o Minimum of BS/BA Degree or technical degree

o Masters or MBA a plus
