Description:    Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to act as a lead for a client specific business intelligence team. In this role you will provide leadership and vision for the BI team. You will develop a roadmap for each client reporting project and manage those through the team. You will be client facing, and have the ability to understand business needs and translate them into projects. Your work will focus on marketing operations and performance data.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee reporting and analysis needs of the team while working closely with the data warehouse engineer around data structure and ETL. Lead a team of 3 analysts. Ensure that each client's reporting requirements are being met. Set and communicate clear expectations with BI team and monitor performance regularly. Manage capacity and workload of BI team against competing priorities and deadlines. Analyze and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data. Provide thought leadership and insight for internal account management and external clients. Be directly involved in the preparation of interactive dashboards, spreadsheet reports and written reports to present findings in clear, concise summaries. Meet with internal and external clients to plan reporting projects and set deadline. Facilitate projects with other analysts and internal resources as necessary; this includes coordinating activities with peers and stakeholders in different geographical locations
 
Critical Skill set: B.S./B.A. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience preferred. Working experience with following languages/technologies: Tableau Reports (or similar reporting technologies i.e. OBIEE, BIRT), SQL (Structural Query Language), PostgreSQL, Oracle, JavaScript, Java, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, Tomcat, Apache. 5+ years of similar or related experience in data analysis. Understanding of market research and analysis techniques. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Comfortable in direct client relationship role. Project management experience preferred. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies. Client-focused attitude and strong customer advocacy skills. Team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

•Work as part of the kernel team. This team is developing a distributed file system within the Linux kernel. This development is done by using the Linux kernel development methodologies with emphasis on quality, reliability and individual responsibility.
•Design, develop and maintain the core functionality of clients product within the Linux kernel (NFS software stack, storage device drivers, etc.), while working with product managers, architects, and other teams, and implementing the relevant standards and protocols.

Requirements:
•Highly proficient in a Unix / Linux kernel environment
•5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex, robust, enterprise-grade software systems
•Proficient in C/C++ coding
•Experience in multi-threaded, concurrent and parallel software development
•Strong algorithm design and problem solving skills
•Autodidact, capable of working alone as well as in a team
