Job Description Provide support to ensure the efficient operation of Quality Systems Administration processes including Device History Record Archiving, External Industry Standard Maintenance and Supplier change Notification

Divisional responsibility for computer systems configuration management and administration for systems such as ERP (Oracle) and Documentation Systems (Windchill). Provide technical oversight of systems Change Control activities. Additional responsibilities include change control management of procedural documentation and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) through electronic systems. Ensure overall compliance with document control requirements and systems data integrity. Manage Lead and/or support activities for multifunctional process improvements and systems integration projects. Generate training materials associated with the systems and processes used in the department. Provide comprehensive formal instruction on system use at all SO locations. Provide technical support to system developers during implementation and validation of system modifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and improve Divisional change control activities for QMS documentation, Drawing ECNs through integrated computer systems
Oversee Divisional processes for the ERP system and activities related to creation and maintenance of items (finished and non-finished goods)
Ensure overall compliance to data integrity as well as document and change control requirements
Manage activities for process improvements and Divisional systems integration as well as participate in continuous improvement activities and process re-engineering projects in support of Stryker Orthopaedics' Continuous Improvement initiatives
Deliver divisional training on systems and/or processes related to ECN, ECO, and documentation
Track, monitor and prepare divisional systems metrics for management review
Interact with personnel in US and international plants within all disciplines

Candidate Must Have :
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements: ISO 13485, Quality System Regulation 21 CFR 820 and Medical Device Directive
* Demonstrated technical understanding of electronic systems such as document management, ERP systems
* Demonstrated experience in item creation and maintenance activities in an electronic ERP (Oracle) system
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related science field

Scope of Work:
Reviews, analyzes, and upgrades systems and processes related to client operations. Analyzes current operational procedures, identifies problems, and learns about specific requirements. Provides technical support to all functional office staff in the proper use of systems and related products.

Core Functions:
Works with functional office staff to design new and improve existing procedures in support of operations. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Maintains communications and positive relations between users and Information Technology Services (IT Services). May participate and represent IT Services at meetings pertaining to the delivery of departmental services and computing initiatives.
Evaluates requests from users for hardware, software, and problem-solving activities. Conducts studies and user training and recommends development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development. Identifies opportunities for the application of computing and communication technologies for the ITS. Provides status reports as required. Assists Computer Programmers in resolution of work problems related to project specifications or programming.

Position Requirements Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing, maintaining Banner systems and gaining and keeping users trust. Experience in using Oracle database from a programming, security and reporting perspective. Experience working with a broad range of institutional administrators including deans, directors and users. Project planning and execution experience required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 6-10 years of related experience in a higher education institution.

Must have Skills:
Strong functional and technical experience with implementing and maintaining ERP products.
Sound knowledge of Oracle and SQL/PL-SQL.
Strong demonstrated IT project management experience, including but not limited to: time management, initiating and implementing tasks, and client follow-up.
High degree of creativity and can do attitude.
Ability to set and change priorities amongst multiple competing constituencies, projects, and resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have Skills:
Oracle Certified Associates Certification (Developer)
PL-SQL
Experience and/or knowledge of enterprise relational database reporting tools and other OBDC reporting tools, such as Hyperion, Crystal Reports or Cognos.
Experience with Luminis or Campus Pipeline.
Diversified understanding of additional functionality within ERPs.

Functional skills: Ability to work in groups, analysis of end user functional and business needs, translate user needs into technical requirements and specifications
