The incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and administering human resources programs within a business unit(s). Incumbents analyze human resources problems and recommend solutions based on expertise, knowledge and/or experience. Provides operational and consultative support to business managers on a daily basis. Delivers tools and techniques to enable managers to coach their staff and comply with HR policies and programs.
Experienced professional with four-year degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum 5 to 7 years' experience within the HR Centers or Excellence (HRCsE) (employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting, training) and/or as a HR Generalist. An advanced degree and/or certification is preferred. Accomplished communication skills with demonstrated skills and abilities in: interacting with all levels of employees; negotiating, consulting, problem identification and resolution; organization; planning, prioritization; and time management. Demonstrated ability to gain a
general understanding of business units supported as a HR generalist.
