Serve as primary customer support resource in NY for the FX Options product
Respond to customer questions and complaints, both on and off site, regarding the use, meaning, interpretation, customization, and integration of all aspects of the product installed at the customer
Conduct pre and post sales demonstrations of for bank and hedge fund customers
Analyze the business functionality for purpose of responding to customer needs for fixes and enhancement of the product
Assist and support the development of risk managements solutions for front and back end users
Assist customers with complex P&L reconciliation troubleshooting
Assist developers in planning, designing, and testing their code
Provide knowledge and input regarding enhancement of the FX options functionality within the standard Front Arena product

Requirements:
Three to five year background in FX options trading, sales, and application support or the equivalent in other advanced financial products
Education in a quantitative discipline
An understanding of derivative instruments and currency markets
Experience in customer relations
Ability to manage projects and efficiently communicate across global time zones via telephone and webex

We are looking for a strong C/C++ developer experienced on the Unix/Linux platform who has worked with the FIX protocol. The candidate should also have some experience with Java. Candidate should be a seasoned developer with some leadership qualities and be capable of managing a small team of developers. The C/C++ knowledge would include low-level C code (sockets, ipc, pthreads, signals, mutexes) as well as high-level C++ design skills (STL, algorithms, data structures, multi-threaded design). Senior Developer – Commercial Lending and Trade Finance - (US-NY-New York)

Responsible for maintaining existing code C++/JAVA code base, extending functionalities, and production support (bug fixes, application failures, performance tuning, etc.). As Senior Developer, additionally serve as team leader, accountable for delegating and managing task assignments to junior staff.

Business activities supported consist of financing products - loans, letter of credits, discount loans, and guarantees. The production architecture consist of core processing systems interfacing to downstream money transfer, general ledger, money market funding, and risk systems.

Existing code base contains mainly C/C++ interfaces, as well a small number of interfaces and reports using VB, Informatica and Crystal Reports. The position requires working closely with business analysts throughout the software development lifecycle (specifications, design, development, testing, and deployment). Consequently, the developer must have a firm knowledge of SDLC, object oriented programming, XML and SQL databases.


Responsibilities include:

Ø Maintenance of existing interfaces and reports

Ø Understanding specifications, working with business analysts to resolve any questions

Ø Estimating time for development, testing and implementation

Ø Unit test of interfaces, reports developed

Ø Coordinating with infrastructure teams during implementation phase

Ø Work as part of global team



Requirements for this role:

Ø Programming experience with C, C++ and SQL

Ø Familiar with Java, VB, Oracle and Sybase

Ø 5+ years IT experience in a similar role, total more than 10 years IT experience.

Ø Knowledge of Middleware technologies and XML

Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ø Willingness to learn and be a team player.

Ø Knowledge of French language is a plus

Ø LoanIQ is a plus

Ø BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Company Overview

 

 Company  provides enterprise technology solutions for mitigating operational risk, including solutions for Banking and Brokerage Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention.

 

The Director of Business Development will be in charge with working with Partners, SI and Channels and will be based in New York City reporting to the Head of Business Development. 

 

They key responsibility for this position is driving new revenues and increased sales through the company’s existing SI and channel partners as well as identifying and signing addition channel and partner relationships.

 

Detailed Responsibilities

• Seek and sign up new channels and resellers
• Seek new opportunities/markets working with partner
• Establish strong relationships with key channels, SI and consultant partners
• Build and nurture qualified pipeline of accounts
• Lead development of business plans with partners
• Confer and coordinate with Sales regarding new opportunities/markets
• Network with key players in the banking and IT industries
• Ability to work independently

 

Required Experience

• Experience in driving revenues through channel partners.
• Experience identifying/initiating/developing partnerships and alliances with resellers, system integrators or solution providers in the financial services industry
• Experience with enterprise application software. Preference for background in the financial services industry 

• 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience 
• Technologically savvy
• Prefer MBA in business, marketing or a related discipline
