3-5 years experience
Performs maintenance, modification and expansion of applications software currently in production, as well as coding new applications software. Provides production support of existing applications. Develops software/ systems specifications. Position Responsibilities: 
•Develops and prepares applications software in accordance with specifications documents. 
•Revises and refines applications software, modules, objects and documentation as required. 
•Evaluates and modifies existing applications software as a result of changes in requirements. 
•Prepares systems and program specifications, file layouts, flow charts, etc., as assigned. 
•Codes, prepares test data, tests and debugs applications software, modules, objects and documentation as required. 
•Confers with organizational personnel regarding problems or requests for changed or new application processing. 
•Demonstrated understanding of software development and configuration management tools, such as tools utilized for debugging, testing and version control. 
•Demonstrated understanding of how the application supported interacts with the technology infrastructure and other Bank systems and a 
understanding of the Bank’s SLDC and CMM standards 

Skills Required: 

* 3-5 years of experience using Microsoft’s .NET platform, SQL Reporting Services, and SQL Server(2000,2005). 
* Experience in standard SDLC (software development life cycle). 
* VB.NET, C# 
* Financial services experience 
* OOPS, Design Patterns 
* Strong transact SQL 
* Strong communications (written and oral) skills 
* Visual SourceSafe 
* JavaScript 
* VB script 
* LDAP

- The ASP.NET developer will plan, design, and implement web applications in C# and ASP.NET, also in asp 3.0 (active server pages). 

- The ASP.Net developer will also design and develop the SQL Server database components including schema, performance tuning, data access methods, and stored procedures. The ASP.Net developer will: 

- Create, enhance, support requirements for the web application 

- Work well in an agile environment with agile processes 

- Design database schemas, business rules, and access methods for SQL Server 

- Build, deploy, and maintain web application and services 

- Tune performance of web application and database. 

- Follow best practices to ensure stability and safety of data and application 

Skills 

- 5+ years developing multi-tier web applications. 

- 5+ years developing database applications with SQL Server 

- 4+ years developing ASP.NET and C# 

- 4+ years developing asp (active server pages) w/ vbscript or javascript 

- 2+ years developing web services 

- Expertise in e-commerce and credit card processing 

- Experience with version 2.0 of the .NET framework and ASP.NET 

- Solid understanding of object oriented design methods. 

- Solid understanding of security practices for internet applications and SQL Server
