Responsibilities:
- Develop/implement strategies for manual and automated testing on agile projects
- Lead meetings to elicit, clarify, and prioritize test requirements
- Recommend and justify mix of manual and automated testing to be used
- Define phase entrance/exit criteria, including readiness for environments and test data
- Evaluate, select, and implement automated test frameworks; train others to maintain


Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in a software quality assurance leadership role
Broad technical knowledge of N-tiered architectures, web technologies, and test tools
Demonstrable experience working on iterative projects or testing early-stage code
Understanding of one or more agile methods such as: XP, Scrum, TDD, BDD, Lean, Crystal
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Must be willing to travel


Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related field
5+ years in a technical capacity (e.g. programmer, white box tester, automation engineer)
Scripting skills in one or more languages such as: Ruby, Perl, Python, JavaScript, or VBscript
Understanding of one or more test frameworks such as: Fitnesse, Selenium, Watir, JUnit
Understanding of continuous integration tools such as: Cruise Control, Maven

Strong test estimation skills
Passion for continuous improvement
Prior experience working in an onsite/offshore model
Experience managing and leading teams
Experience with sales and pre-sales support
Experience in one or more of the following industry segments is desired (in order of preference):

Core Java/J2ee Developer with very strong SQL capabilities who has worked on CRM system development efforts.

At least 7+ years development experience in which at least 5 years in a technology leadership role
At least 5+ years development experience in large CRM solution environment – eg: SalesLogix, Salesforce.com, Siebel or SugarCRM
At least 3+ years development experience developing in multi-tier Java environment

Excellent knowledge of CRM development process, architecture and data model

In this role, he/she is responsible for working with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to implement and maintain new CRM solutions and play a pivotal role in the development and in the deployment of this new CRM solution.

As a leader in the highly motivated Information Technology development team, he/she is responsible for enhancing and streamlining the contact management requirements, as well as coordinating CRM team efforts. He/she will guide and mentor developers and always communicate closely with the rest of the technology development teams, including keeping stakeholders informed of technical progress and risks. The Sr. CRM Developer reports directly to the Technical Development Lead – CRM.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Help ensure Production CRM support team follows best practices when architecting, programming or documenting solutions. This includes creating standards and documentation and leveraging processes to ensure all development staff follow the same
Working closely with the other technology teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure selection, maintenance, policies and procedures are in place to support the custom application environment.
Communicate effectively with development staff for knowledge-sharing and transfer
Providing the highest level support for production applications
Enhancing and maintaining existing application suite
Communicating development status on a regular basis to Technology Development Lead- CRM and stakeholders, escalating any identified risks
Recommending cost effective technology solutions for business challenges
Ensuring the on-time delivery of enhancements or modifications to production systems
Competencies:
At least 7+ years development experience in which at least 5 years in a technology leadership role

With limited supervision; investigate, evaluate and resolve complex and moderate to high value casualty claims. Responsible for handling Excess Casualty claims to include; SIR/TPA accounts, Products Liability, Public Entities, misc. E&S and transportation. Works within specific limits of authority on assignments requiring significant technical expertise. In compliance with claims policies and guidelines, reviews coverage, coordinates and completes investigations, directs litigation efforts, evaluates liability and compensability, and negotiates settlements to prompt and equitable resolution. Provides support to underwriting in trend analysis, coverage analysis, marketing support and client relations.

Requirements:
MUST have 10 (or more) years of solid experience handling complex casualty claims. Excess and Surplus lines experience, including Public Entity Liability, Transportation, and other specialty areas experience a must have.



Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance environment.
A functional and developing knowledge of multi-state legal statutes and procedures.
A thorough functional knowledge and skill of claims handling specific to assigned area.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to engage underwriters, insured’s and their brokers in a courteous and professional manner.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make critical business decisions effectively.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business related software.


Education and Experience:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years complex casualty claims experience preferably in Excess Casualty and/or Public Entity Claims Areas.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a team oriented environment.
Professional Designations preferred.
