Primary Skills:        
Description:    Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree with 8+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree in Engineering or related degree with 2-6+ years of experience 
• 5+ years of experience managing safety in industrial or a manufacturing environment 
• Familiar with the Process Hazard Analysis and proficient at allocating risk to independent protective layers 
• Knowledgeable in application of ISA 84 / IEC 61511 Safety Instrumented Systems for Process Industry 
• Strong knowledge of automation/control systems including DCS, PLC, Safety Instrumented Systems, function block and ladder logic programming, industrial instrumentation and electrical equipment 
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task effectively 
• Self-started capable of managing assigned workload with minimal supervision 
• Well organized with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization 

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree with 10+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree in Engineering or related degree with 4-8+ years of experience 
• Certified Safety Engineer (CFSE).

Description:    Qualifications: 
Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills are required (Much of the work involves using data querying tools to understand prepay and default risks. They work with over 7M observations across 70+ months of data). Experience querying large datasets and able to leverage that experience in learning new tools. 

Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Accounting 
8+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, or computer sciences with 4+ years directly applicable work experience 
Strong MS-Excel skills 
Self-starter able to understand complex concepts/processes related to finance and future cash flow valuation models 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Plusses: 
Experience in mortgage or related industry 
Experience with SAS or other data querying tools 

Responsible for understanding the key drivers for prepayment and default behavior, monitoring and tracking model performance and making recommendations for model improvements to Executive Management. The position involves partnering with  Data and Financial Engineering Teams to ensure the data and tools meet the requirements to support the analytical process.
