MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

On a monthly basis:
Coordinate the preparation of development cost reports in Prolog.
Work with all team members to establish approved budget.
Ensure that contracts and change orders on design and construction projects are properly maintained in Prolog, (including review for appropriate signing authorities).
Ensure all project costs to date are included in the cost report (construction, consultants and company fees and costs).
Work with project executives to update and review anticipated project costs, including monthly variance report. Design and Construction team maintains forecasted amounts in Prolog.
Reconcile Prolog development cost reports to general ledger and / or loan draws.

Coordinate preparation of funding requests to lenders and partners.

Review approved payment applications and invoices. Manage the payment of development fees, payroll and reimbursables.
Reject invoices without proper documentation (executed contracts, executed change orders, lien waivers, etc.) proper signing authorities. Alert appropriate team members to resolve invoice approval issues.
Upon receipt of funding, facilitate disbursements via check or wire transfer.
Manage cash balances.
Prepare or review monthly financial statements, information requests and related workpapers for lenders, partners and internal company departments as required.
Review general ledger for correct coding of disbursements and adjusting journal entries.
Prepare or review bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of project-specific required financial reporting

On a Quarterly basis:
Prepare or review workpapers for accrual and US GAAP based books and records including the review of accruals, rollforward of CIP, amortization, etc.
Prepare or review and distribute quarterly US GAAP (or US tax if necessary) financial statements for partners and lenders as required.
Prepare quarterly compliance testing / certifications as required at the fund level for lenders.

On an Annual basis:
Prepare annual audited financial statements for property and upper tier entities as required.
Provide required supporting documentation to auditors as required.
Prepare annual performance evaluation of direct reports.
Responsible for fund level reporting on a Fair Value basis, where applicable.Work with senior level audit and tax staff on entity specific accounting or tax issues.
Prepare or review tax basis workpapers and financial statements.
Record opening, cost segregation and closing entries in conjunction with new acquisitions or sales.

Must have an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
Preferably has a minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in public accounting and/or construction accounting.
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior members of other departments and representatives of outside lenders and partners.
Ability to use, and has sufficient knowledge of, computer software currently utilized by the Company. They use Prologue and will accept Timberline or MRI

A global technology company is seeking to hire a Programmer/Analyst to join their team. The candidate will engaged in developing/managing mission-critical business applications running on intranet and the corporate web site.

The candidate will immediately participate in a variety of existing projects involving order entry, billing, and CRM apps used throughout the company. The candidate is expected to be involved in the design as well as implementation of a variety of projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must have:

At least 4+ years developing Java-based business applications deployed as JSF web apps or JFC/Swing applets is mandatory.
Extensive experience in web and client/server development of business applications is required.
Participated in full project cycle for enterprise system design, preferably with CRM, accounting, ordering, billing, and/or inventory systems.
Strong OO design and problem solving skills.
Previous experience with technologies like Tomcat, Hibernate, XML, MyFaces, EJB, Ant and CORBA is a huge plus.
Solid database understanding is a must, preferably with MS SQL Server, with knowledge of SQL necessary.
Excellent communication, organizational and debugging skills are necessary.
Displaying initiative with a desire to learn, as well as actively participating in team projects is a must.
Ability to multitask across multiple technologies is crucial

Business Analyst to join our Product Management team. The qualified individual will be responsible for acting as an interface between our Options business unit and the platform development and implementation areas. They will also be involved in creating and assembling detailed business requirement specifications for new products/applications and product/application enhancements.

Responsibilities include:
Participate in identifying user requirements by working on teams with a number of key individuals representing business and technology
Document, communicate, and review requirements with product and project team members and sponsors
Identify and document the impact of the requirements on existing systems and data
Manage deadlines and work to meet feature requirements and customer expectations
Assist in development of testing plans, scenarios and scripts and participate in user acceptance testing
Assemble, complete, and distribute updates to key documents for developers, testers, change management and our customers

Experience Required
Must have previous experience writing business requirements and training materials for trading systems
Must be familiar with formal requirements gathering and management process
Working knowledge of system design, architecture and application programming/analysis
In-depth understanding of software development life cycle
Strong knowledge of equity or derivatives products, market data feeds, trade lifecycle and post-trade processing. Knowledge of Futures is a DEFINITE plus.
Understanding of the FIX financial messaging protocol a plus
Bachelors degree in Finance, Engineering, Math, or Economics with a minimum of 4-6 years of IT business analysis experience
Previous experience in equity or derivatives trading technology for an exchange or a brokerage/financial firm is preferable

The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with a cross matrix team (comprised of functional, technical, legal, financial, and business area subject matter experts) to lead and manage strategic sourcing, procurement, as well as vendor management activities for the Technology Division.

Responsibilities to include:
Managed Acquisitions
Must have experience with the full life cycle of contracts. Will be responsible for leading vendor negotiations, performing financial analyses, ensuring the adherence to master agreements, approved suppliers, and risk management.
Must have experience with authoring and developing requirements, Statements of Work, Request for Information, Proposals, Quotes, and Service Level Agreements. Will also facilitate the execution of Terms and Conditions as well as various other licensing agreements.
Candidate should have prior experience in working with Technology related products and services such as servers, PC, storage area networks, switches, routers, Telco related services, software licenses, as well as outsourcing services.
Experience in working with hardware leasing companies and asset refreshes and return

Vendor Management
Develop and maintain vendor performance monitoring programs and data.
Maintain the awareness of current market trends and conditions that affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing and may have operational or strategic implications for the company.

Staff Management
Directly manage the Vendor Management Office staff (currently one), working under the general direction of the Head of the Vendor Management Office.
Assist in the development and implementation of "Best Practice" processes and procedures for a corporate Vendor Management Office.
Required Experience

Experience Required/Results Expected:
Strong customer service orientation.
Solid presentation skills and creative thinking abilities
Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills, outstanding communication abilities, and capacity to handle multiple priorities is required.
Proven performance demonstrating flexibility, ability to prioritize, and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong understanding of legal terms and conditions and strong negotiation skills. Coupled with extensive knowledge of business and contract law related to corporate products and services is required; with an emphasis on Technology.
Ability to simultaneously manage a staff, manage projects, as well as to deliver as a subject matter expert.
Must have experience with the full life cycle of contracts. Will be responsible for leading vendor negotiations, performing financial analyses, ensuring the adherence to master agreements, approved suppliers, and risk management. Monitor and ensure adherence to financial and legal policies and procedures.
7+ years strategic sourcing work experience within a corporate environment
CPM, CTPE certification and/or MBA highly preferred
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Law
Knowledge of JDE Financial and Remedy applications a plus.
