Compensation: $85K - $90K / Year

· Installation, configuration of Oracle DB, Database design implementation and support. 

· Should also be able to support DB2 UDB and/or SQL Server environment. 

· Database Backup, restore and recovery. 

· Database and Application tuning and performance monitoring. 

· Write SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Functions. 

· Provide guidance and support to development teams. 

· Work with Oracle technical support and applying oracle patches. 

· Write Unix Shell Scripts. 

· Work with Business users and create reports. 

· Work with business users to understand, define and script, data migration requirements. 

· Train users on usage of Applications, Data Warehouse and reporting. 



Job Requirements 

· Real Application Clusters (RAC) on Windows 2008. 

· Oracle Automatic Storage Management(ASM). 

· Oracle DB 11g. 

· Knowledge of DB2 UDB ver 8+ and SQL Server a plus. 

· Strong Data Modeling , Strong SQL , PL/SQL. 

· Strong Database Tuning / Performance knowledge. 

· Good analytical, verbing and writing skills.
