Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing multiple application systems including pensions/retirement, claims and contribution accounting. Will also directly manage the conversion of multiple contribution accounting and pension/retirement systems into a single system. Work closely with business on requirements, design and testing. Manage vendor relationships, supervise IT staff, maintain project plan, track project deliverables and issues, monitor project budget.

Requirements:
An IT manager with at least 5 years of Project Management experience
Knowledge of claims processing, contribution accounting and pension and retirements processing, especially for Taft Hartley funds
Experience with managing a staff of 10+ technical and business resources
Experience with the Vitech system will be a plus
Experience with data conversions
Ability to write detailed business and technical requirements
Knowledge of Oracle
Knowledge of Websphere/Java
Excellent written and oral communication skills is very important
Project Management Certification is a plus
Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project

The Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) discipline is responsible for the development of control and diagnostic algorithms, systems and software. The developed system manages engine operations, enables engine integration with the aircraft and provides diagnostic/prognostic capabilities.

The discipline is seeking an experienced technical leader as a Discipline Chief for the Requirements and Logic Development (RLD) sub-discipline within CDS. Working closely with the RLD discipline manager, the Discipline Chief is responsible for a broad range of technical leadership activities critical to achieving technical excellence in engine logic development and organizational effectiveness. The Discipline Chief shall work closely with the RLD discipline manager in staff competency assessment and development, improving the organizational capabilities through processes, tools and technology development. The Discipline Chief is responsible for leading the discipline standard work activities and design reviews.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary/multi-project team environment focused on developing and certifying mission critical embedded systems.

· Develop and maintain working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (including the Department of Defense and other Supplements) and Government Compliance subject areas including: Cost Accounting Standards/Government Contracting Accounting Systems; Billing Systems; Time and Labor Systems; Purchasing Systems; Material Management; Government Property; Cost Estimating/Bid & Proposal Development and Negotiation Practices; Contract Administration; International Contracting (Import, Export, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act); and Standards of Business Conduct.

· Assist in preparation of audit work programs identifying specific audit steps to be performed, including test plans.
· Prepare time and resource budget estimates to complete the audit.
· Identify and analyze related key processes, systems and controls to determine effectiveness.
· Verbally communicate audit status and results to Internal Audit and Business Unit management, with emphasis on discussing deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
· Prepare formal written workpapers and reports, documenting audit work performed, and expressing conclusions.
· Assist with the annual Internal Control Self Assessment (ICSA) process, as assigned.
· This is a rotational assignment where the employee will work in the Corporate Audit function for several years with the objective of moving into a financial role within one of Harris’ business units after their audit assignment is completed.
· Perform special reviews and internal investigations at the request of Management, Legal or the Director of Business Conduct. Interface with Government Communications Systems Division (GCSD) Contract Compliance group, and local Government oversight agencies, DCMA and DCAA.

Qualifications
· BSBA in Accounting or Finance
· 4+ years finance, accounting or general business experience, preferably in a Government contracting environment. Must have working experience with the FAR.
· Desire to participate in rotational assignment within finance organization.
· Must have a strong work ethic and be a self starter
· Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Provide process and work product quality assurance (PPQA) evaluations to Engineering projects.

Qualifications:

Preferred Additional Skills:
