Our minimum requirements to ensure your success in this role are: 
- 5+ years of experience in financial software QA/testing 
- Equity financial industry experience is essential 
- Proficient in FIX protocol 4.x 
- Experience with Direct Market Access and Order Management System 
- Familiarity with MSSQL database and store procedures 
- Excellent oral and written technical communication skills 
- Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and responsible, team player 
- Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills 

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who also possess the following desirable skill sets: 
- Knowledge of Options, Futures and FX 
- Exchange/ECN and client connectivity experience is highly desirable. 
- Knowledge in VeriFIX tool 
- Knowledge in VB script 
- Experience in Market Data 

Key Accountabilities: 

The FIX Automation Specialist will be primarily responsible to: 
- Create and maintain FIX automation testing suite 
- Perform regression testing 
- Analysis and troubleshooting of FIX Automation effort

· Support for our nationally-distributed Windows environment, including working knowledge of the windows stack, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Exchange 2007, Group Policy & Security 

· The ability to participate effectively in multiple project efforts, meeting deadlines and provide technical expertise 

· Producing documentation that describes the systems, procedures, events and associated processes 

· Responding to & resolving server issues in time to meet our SLA obligations This also includes after-hours break fix support in an on-call rotation system 

· Involvement in full system life cycle management including meeting project deadlines, racking, installing, monitoring, backup and recovery, performance tuning & patching following established server standards 

· Actively participating as a strategic member of the technology team, including participating in meetings and providing third-level technical support for our users 

· Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to work within a team and independently on assignments 

· Provide 3rd level support through our help desk process and ticketing system. 

· Adhere to change control and incident response polices. 

Qualifications 


Candidate Profile and Experience Prerequisites 



Required Skills: 

· 6+ years of experience in windows server technologies 

· Taking ownership and managing current environment using, Active Directory, Exchange server 2007, SCCM, Symantec Anti Virus, Storage (Dell/EMC), DNS, VMWare, security patches, Network backups 

· Expert in installation, optimization, maintenance and security of DNS, Windows 2003 server, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2007, VMWare, Symantec Anti Virus, WSUS, SCCM, any SAN/NAS storage, EMC Networker or other backup solution 

· Expert in maintaining and administrating a distributed network of remote servers 

· Familiar with or certified on Dell and IBM hardware 

· Strong project methodology skills. Must be familiar with requirement analysis, testing, and rollout strategies. Must be comfortable working in a development environment with version control, peer review, and test-driven development & QA processes 

· Must be able to be both a team player and depended on to provide exemplary results while working on projects independently 

Preferred but not required: 

· SAN Administration Experience, preferably EMC related 

· Backup/Restore Technologies, preferably EMC Networker 

· Citrix Farm administration 

· VMware support and administration 

· Security related Experience specifically, IAS, ISA & SSL 

· Windows Server 2008 

· MCSE/MCSA Certification or on track a plus 

· BES & SharePoint server administration 

· Scripting ( PowerShell, vbscript, perl etc. ) 

Academic Qualifications: 

· A four year degree or more in Computer Science, MIS or relevant work experience.

This is a combination delivery and sales role plus all other activities outlined in the job description below. 
- Business development 
- Delivery of BPX strategic business consulting (utilization piece) 
- Business plan development and execution 
- Go to market planning and execution 
- People, recruitment, and mentorship 
- Partnership development (internal, customer, external) 
- Industry relations (analyst relations) 
- Development of intellectual property (tools, templates, methodologies) 
- Delivery of BPX consulting to customers 
- Sales/presales activities including bids/proposal mgmt 
- Delivery of Business Architect consulting (ID of business and technology capabilities, alignment of strategic goals to initiatives to project groups, to projects and the alignment of projects to business capabilities and through them to process and business units and organizations)
- BPX business consulting experience 


Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): 
• Experience in either the financial market or in insurance is required 
• Ability to drive the decision process with the client’s stakeholders towards the most appropriate path of consulting-thru-vendor-selection-to-implementation-phase in the context of BPX strategic consulting, as well as IT and technology constraints and business rules specific to the nature of each client’s specific needs. 
• Ability to work with our customer account teams, sales force, consulting and offshore teams in analyzing RFPs, creating proposals, and presenting them. 
• Previous experience (5 plus years) with midsized to large project planning and project management. 
• Marketing, evangelism, promotions experience 
• Previous Big 3-5 consulting craft experience and training (2 years min) is desirable. 
• Previous senior-level experience (5 to7 years) designing and developing enterprise-level BPX solutions. 
• Experience with designing solutions to complex business problems and then planning and managing the project. 
• Experience (4 years) in advanced BPR and BPM approaches – understand what BPM can do and how it will do it 
• Previous experience (4 years) working with BPM methods, techniques and tools in any of the following industries (Insurance, Pharma, Healthcare, Banking, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail, etc.) and any of the following BPM technology (Pega, Lombardi, Global 360, TIBCO, Savvion, etc.). 
• While this is not a technical position, must understand IT technical concepts 
• Previous experience (3 plus years) in presenting difficult concepts to all levels of management (leading workshops, presenting/working with senior management, IT and business managers with a variety of backgrounds). 
• Previous participation (2 years) in a consulting firm’s client relationship management activity 
• Must be able to work effectively in conflict situations 
• Must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision 
• Must be skilled at managing people in difficult situations 
• Must understand and be experienced (5 years) in process modeling/redesign/simulation, rules definition, and workflow analysis/redesign. 

Education: 
8 - 10+ years of experience with BPM/BPR consulting and/or BPM implementations for Fortune 500 companies with focus on Business Improvement and Business Transformation consulting. 
Big 5 experience and consulting craft skills training.
