User Experience Designer who will work on a production support team for Digital Asset Management system (DAMs) and Digital supply chain capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 4 plus years experience in designing online interface and information architecture, user interactions using the latest in front-end web technologies and techniques. This project will focus primarily on building user interfaces to allow users to manage data and assets for e-book distribution and digital supply chain operations management. 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Lead Information Architecture and User UX development - efforts 
• Create user scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, templates and functional specifications 
• Advocate application design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability 
• Work closely with application manager and DBA to integrate back-end systems with the front end user experience 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications 
• Bachelors degree in a technical or artistic discipline, or equivalent work experience 
• Cooperative and enthusiastic team player with excellent oral and written communication skills 
• 4+ years of relevant UX design/development experience, including information architecture, visual design and interface design 
• Knowledge of multiple technologies, including but not limited to: Flash, Flex, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, DHTML, AJAX, ColdFusion, and XML 
• A solid understanding of current Web Standards compliance practices 
• Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform implementation solutions 
• Ability to deliver design and functionality that match the business requirements 
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business staff 
• Experience in application development a plus (web dev and/or client/server)
