• Ensure capacity & capabilities are in place to deliver Business Unit growth and Innovation plans
• Deliver ongoing productivity by optimizing the utilization of current manufacturing and logistics assets. Continuously optimize sourcing, run strategies and inventory plans.
• Identify losses occurring across supply chain functions. Identify and champion projects and processes to eliminate these losses

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute to the development of a 3-5 year Production/Distribution network strategy including locations, size and capability of each facility and mix of internal and external manufacturing .
2. Manage evaluation and approval process for capacity, retrofit and major productivity projects. Contribute to developing the business case and Capital Appropriations Request and present projects for approval to Supply Chain Leadership.
3. Advise Supply Chain Leadership and BU innovation teams on supply chain capability and impact of growth initiatives. Influence growth initiatives to deliver news efficiently and cost effectively.
4. Optimize capacity and sourcing dynamically based on changes in cost, TE, demand, capacity, raw material sourcing.
5. Drive the use of consistent tools and processes across supply chain, enabling all supply chain functions to optimize results.
6. Provide leadership and business expertise to the center-run modeling organization so that appropriate value-added scenarios are studied and critical information is accurately reflected. Advise and coach the modeling team on related projects.
7. Working with Sr. Manager, Capability, deliver loss analysis identifying losses due to lack of synchronization and a mobilization plan to eliminate them. Accountable for the proper execution of these plans.
8. Identify, develop and initiate future supply chain capabilities.
9. Maintain knowledge of key competitors’ supply chain and external industry development in order to identify opportunities to drive improvement.

5 – 7 yrs in SC/Operations Research
– Advanced degree in Bus, Ops Mgmt, Logistics preferred
– Functional knowledge in use of optimization models, inventory strategy, capacity management and financial planning and project evaluation
– Expertise across technologies (Hot Fill, juice manufacturing & packaging, extrusion, milling) and supply chain functions
– Ability to challenge the status quo and champion new ideas throughout the organization, inspire confidence and trust with peers and Sr. Leadership
– Can leverage broad supply chain functional expertise to solve broader business issues
– Ability to coach and develop others, can effectively empower and delegate across various projects and business units
– Strong financial and analytical skills

·          Manage the expectations of the FU, coach and counsel them on the IS prioritization process, and help them understand how to obtain the support they need to achieve their goals. 

·          Understand customer's strategies, key success factors, and value chain.  Bring that information from the FU back into the IS community, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken,  ie., long term planning proposals are created where necessary to enable business strategies.

·          Be a participating member of the team.  Provide input into strategy, direction and business process for the Finance Function,  and jointly own the success of same.       

·          Help organization adopt best in class practices, new technologies and applications

·          Coordinate with other Partnership Managers to leverage shared opportunities, agree on and implement best practices

·          In coordination with other Partnership Managers, prioritize the demand that is fed back in to IS

 

Principle Accountabilities:

 

·          Overall customer satisfaction with the IS relationship

·          Ensuring key strategic business projects are communicated to appropriate IS personnel and appropriate procedures are followed to initiate action.

·          Ensuring IS key goals, priorities and key processes are communicated and understood

·          Communicating project portfolio status to function, especially where something is off-track

·          Agreeing and reporting customer specific service levels, and taking appropriate actions where service levels fall short

·          Assisting project managers to obtain timely resolution of business process issues.

·          Effectively Managing Customer complaints

 

 

Major interfaces:      Finance Function, (Corporate and Financial Service Centers).   I. S. Partnership Management Team.  I.S. Project Office.  I.S. Investment Committee.    I.S. New Service Delivery Team Managers and Project Managers.  I.S. Current Service Delivery Team Managers particularly Process Improvement Specialists.  Infrastructure Leads. 

 

Qualifications:          Educated to degree level in relevant field.

6 - 8 years of experience in similar senior IS role.

Extensive Project Management Experience. 

Familiar with SAP R3 software, in particular FI/CO modules. 

Wide-ranging experience of all business functions

System Architect General Description

The primary goal of the System Architect is to provide a superior level of technical support for a wide range of the Company’s’ product line to Partners (OEM and Resell) and System Integrators. Additionally, this individual must possess broad industry knowledge and specific expertise for products, systems, packages, applications, and deployment environments outside the Company’s’ landscape. Lastly, the System Architect must perform successfully at the leading edge of technology, both from within the Company's and from without.

Reports to: Channels Technical Manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The System Architect will:

Achieve a high level of respect in the company with knowledge approaching or equal to that of the product management staff.

• Assist Partners (OEM and Resell) and System Integrators in identifying, modeling and solving complex technical problems.

• Provide on site technical assistance in sensitive sales situations on an as needed basis.

• Perform or supervise the installation and configuration of the products associated with his/her project.

• Proactively monitor and provide advice in sensitive sales situations to the Channels Technical Manager and other interested parties.

• Provide leadership within Company’s’ in resolving technical issues.

• Interface effectively with Corporate Technical Support Services, Product Management and Regional/Branch Technical Managers and staff in coordinating problem resolution and resource allocation.

• Prepare and deliver formal presentations to partners/prospects at potentially very technical levels (i.e. CTO/CIO)

• Perform demonstrations provided by Company’s’ Corporate.

• Develop and execute customized demos on an as needed basis.

• Prepare and teach standard and customized classes.

• Provide technical leadership in sales situations.

• Report status of all activities to the Channels Technical Manager.

General Activities

In addition to the Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the successful SA will:

• Present and demonstrate Company’s newest high technology products inpre-sales situations as required by theft associated sales organization.

• Master operating system, relevant products, and telecommunication.

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of competitive products.

• Independently broaden/deepen knowledge of technical industry as a whole (“forever a student of theft craft”)

• Contact the Corporate Technical Support Services group as needed to discuss account situations.

• Attend ongoing training as it becomes available.

• Update product skills quickly as new releases become available.

• Maintain knowledge and be conversant in the Company’s’ high level selling and marketing messages.
