RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking to hire a Sr.Software Engineer for ongoing development and enhancements to  a  market-leading enterprise compliance product. We are most interested in individuals with the ability and willingness to quickly master new technologies and become part of a relatively small group (around 10 developers) where the desire to excel is the distinguishing factor. Core skills are object-oriented design as well as experience developing multi-tier software systems with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, C# and the .NET Framework. Strong Relational Database and SQL knowledge is also a must. Candidate must have designed systems / components. Any experience with web services, rule-based systems, or investment software is a big plus. Most importantly, the candidate must possess the understanding of what good code is and the desire to produce and maintain such code.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

*BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent

*Solid object-oriented programming skills in C# (or Java/C++)

* Ability to design and architect systems or subsystems

*7+ years work experience in software development, primarily using Windows based OS platforms

*5+ years work experience in designing and building enterprise systems and/or distributed applications and/or service-oriented architectures

*Experience working with SQL and RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems)

*Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Experience unit testing and profiling their own code

*Familiarity with technologies such as web services, XML, and COM is highly desirable

*Experience developing financial and/or investment applications is a plus

*Experience working with trade order management or compliance software would be a definite plus!

Investor Relations is responsible for processing all documentation and monies for investor transactions into our clients’ funds as well as producing and distributing all investor reporting.  The department verifies each investor to ensure eligibility and compliance with anti-money laundering requirements. The Investor Relations Specialist is an integral member of a dedicated client team. This role is focused on day-to-day client interaction. It requires thorough and precise work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

 

Description:

·               Review of subscription agreements

·               Follow up with investors on missing documentation

·               Complete KYC and AML on new partners

·               Carry out partner transfers and name changes

·               Maintenance of all electronic and physical partner records

·               Maintenance of bank accounts for funds assigned

·               Prepare daily cash reconciliation for various accounts

·               Production of Partner Statements, Capital Calls, Distributions and correspondence

·               Distribution of Partner Statements, Capital Calls, Distributions and correspondence

·               Follow up with investors for payment on past due calls

·               Update all contacts information in all systems

·               Appropriate handling of fund manager and investor calls

·               Assisting with various projects as assigned

 

Qualifications required:

·         1 – 3 years experience in Financial Services

·         Exposure to accounting and performance reporting

·         Hedge fund or mutual fund background

·         Demonstrated strong client relationship experience

·         BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics

·         Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills

·         Proactive attitude
