Description:   

Lead development of all advanced analytics and reporting solutions for a client in Indianapolis.  This person will both architect and be involved in actual development and delivery of solutions.

 

Essential Functions:

·         Architect and lead backend development of all advanced analytics and reporting solutions

·         Work closely with the Business Intelligence practice manager and other practice managers, solution architects, product manager and project managers on requirements, solution architecture, and development execution

·         In depth involvement in the new client/project sales cycle as part of a team selling approach

·         Involvement in client-facing project activities such as requirements gathering, solution reviews, and explaining technical complexities and business benefits in layperson terms

·         Helping define the business intelligence solution delivery methodology

·         Helping define and create database schemas and architecture design related documentation

·         R&D and long-term positioning of the Business Intelligence Practice around current and emerging technologies

 

Skills and Experience:

·         5+ years of business intelligence, data architecture, data sourcing and ETL, database development, and analytics experience

·         Hands on experience with all aspects of business intelligence solutions including data sourcing, architecture, and data modeling of warehouses/marts/repositories, data integration/transformation/ETL, APIs, cubes, reporting and analytics

·         Experience with in-memory database technologies – SAP HANA experience is preferred

·         Experience with big data tools like Hadoop

·         Experience with NoSQL, Document Store, and/or Column Store database platforms like MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, BigTable, HBase, etc.

·         Experience sourcing data from various SQL database platforms (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.)

·         Strong solution creativity and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills

·         Exposure to various application development platforms is desirable

·         Collaborative team player who is detailed oriented, focused on solution quality and execution

·         Progressive mindset particularly around deployment models and emerging technologies

·         Comfortable working across wide range of project sizes and industries

·         Entrepreneurial mindset – being integral part of building the Business Intelligence
