Job ID: Job-0991 Job Title: Manual Tester location: New York, NY Jobtype: Permanent Rate: $100K - $110K +bonus Description: 1. Test electronic trading applications  2. Write, maintain and execute test plan for new functionality/bug fixes  3. Troubleshoot issues in production, uat and qa and perform root cause analysis of issue on hand  4. Closely work with developers, business analyst, production support and other groups interfacing with the product  5. Maintain and create test environment for other groups within the company  6. Track and Report bugs using bug tracking tool  7. Schedule and Conduct End to End Test in QA with all the systems and users affected by the release  Requirements: 1. At least 2 to 3 years of manual testing experience of trading application  2. Knowledge of FIX protocol is required  3. Knowledge of Exchange or Client Connectivity is a plus  4. Knowledge of Smart Routing/Algorithmic Trading Engine Testing huge plus  5. Testing Futures flow with Algorithmic Trading application is a huge plus  6. Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and text editors(VI)  7. Write, Maintain and Execute Test Scripts  8. Knowledge of Shell Scripting or Reg Expression is a huge plus but not required  9.
