Under close supervision, performs a variety of routine outbound calling functions, in order to provide sales representatives with lead opportunities, and promote long-term business growth. 

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Telephones policyholders and pre-qualified third party vendor leads to obtain lead opportunities for insurance sales representatives. 
2. Maintains logs, records and reports as required to preserve accurate information and reporting capabilities for active and/or potential customers. 
3. Alerts management to potential problems with active customers and refers non-routine inquiries and/or problems to supervisor or appropriate personnel. 
4. Coordinates efforts to supply customer information from point of sale to invoicing with appropriate coding. Responsible for communicating this information to customer in format requested. 
5. Acts as a liaison between management and customer for routine information and reports requested. 

Communications and Contacts: 
Customers Determine needs/problem resolution schedule appointments; 
Various Support Staff: Recommends changes/enhancements to meet customer's needs; 
Management Staff: Update on customer status 

Good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively to customers and management staff. Ability and willingness to overcome objections. Capacity to maintain stamina while making 250-300 outbound dials per day. Flexibility important. Call Center experience. Knowledge of systems and personal computer workstations preferred. High school degree or equivalent. 

Start Times will vary: 
Starting at 6am, 6:30 am, 7:30 am, 8 am, 8:30am and 9 am until 6pm at the latest for a total of an 8 hour work day. Must be flexible, as business needs change.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree or higher

 Minimum of 3 years of account management, sales, or consulting (project management) experience

 Background in one or all: Project, Resource, and Portfolio Management

 Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue or sales targets

 Demonstrated leadership capabilities

 Demonstrated ability to be a self‐starter and willingness to learn new things

 Demonstrated strengths in quantitative analysis, and an ability to think creatively to achieve

solutions

 Demonstrated skills in adapting, multi‐tasking and troubleshooting

 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

 Demonstrated ability to work as a team player or as part of a project team

 Strong computer skills required, and demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with,

web‐based applications

 May require off hours or weekend work

 Willing to travel quarterly to visit each account (approximately 30%‐45%)
