Compensation: $90K - $110K / Year

6-8+ years of work experience during which the primary focus of responsibility has involved a broad range of hands-on technical implementation, management and administration activities in a highly available environment. 
Significant experience in EMC SAN and VMware administration. 
Experience with the design, management and maintenance of LAN and WAN technologies. 
Extensive knowledge of current IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends, particularly those relevant to network design and administration. 
Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of L4-L7 networking technologies including local and global server load balancing technologies and products. Experience with Juniper and/or F5 products and technologies is highly desirable. 
Fosters a team oriented and supportive environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form. 
Ability to understand and analyze complex issues and information relating to database management. 
Ability to establish work priorities. 

Technology Skills Requirements: 
TCP/IP and common routing topologies 
Cisco routers and switches including Fiber Channel SAN switching 
Juniper Firewalls 
Windows 2000/2003 services in AD environments 
Exchange 2003/2007 Server 
Cisco VoIP environment 
MS SQL 2005 Server (Clustering & Mirroring) 
IIS 5.0 and 6.0 and Dot Net 
VMware ESX Servers & Virtual Center including HA, VCB and DRS 
EMC Clarion SANS & related EMC software (EMC Navisphere) 
Internet and Intranet standard protocols and applications (FTP, HTTP, PPTP, IPSec) 
VPN technologies including SSL VPN 
Hardware load balancing 
DNS 
Industry acceptable security standards & protocols 
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related discipline 
CCNA, MCP or MCSE certification preferred
