QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 
• Successful Financial Project reporting and evaluation experience over a period of at least 5 years.

• Working knowledge of leading and coordinating financial planning & audits, budgeting, invoices, depreciation, amortization, capitalization, business case, benefits and forecasting processes, working closely with project managers, workstream leads ensuring full awareness of variances and expenses. 
• Experience of producing in-depth cost and sensitivity analysis to aid decision making. 
• Experience of developing continuous improvement of finance reports to enhance expense forecasting variance analysis, capital expenditure and project reporting. 
• Experience of leading and developing financial analysis to support understanding of cost drivers to contribute to decision making process. 
• Extensive experience in data modeling and information analysis and subsequent presentation of results and recommendations to the Project Team and Stakeholders 
• Resource forecasting and analysis working knowledge to ensure maximum productivity. 
• Experience of working in a cross-functional capacity in complex, regulated, global organizations. 
• Experience of facilitating workshops and Governance Groups, interpreting discussions, capturing issues, decisions and actions with excellent, concise recording and broader communication of outcomes. 
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint skills. 
• Working knowledge of General Ledger - SAP 
• US Insurance Industry experience 
• Guidewire experience

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 
- Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as decision sciences, economics, statistics, finance, and mathematics 
- Minimum 7 years of credit risk modeling/analytical experience in banking or financial service industry 
- Demonstrated experience developing PD, LGD models using regression models 7+ year experience required 
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills 
- Possess strong SAS base, SAS macro, SAS SQL and SAS stat programming) skills with experience in working with large datasets 5+ year experience required 
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Power Point 
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and well developed 
- Familiarity with risk grades, model monitoring and risk measurement best practices and methodologies 
- Familiarity with first lien mortgages 

Preferred Skills 
- Ph.D. in finance, economics, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative disciplines 
- 7 years of experience in credit risk modeling in banking or financial service industry 
- Retail Basel II and/or Economic Capital modeling experience 
- Knowledge of bank stress test and Basel II requirements guidelines 
- Background in Mortgage Risk Management and Analysis 
- Strong quantitative/statistical modeling skill, documentation and validation 
- Develops own creative ideas and can evaluate and endorse other s ideas
