Job ID: Job-0612 Job Title: BO XI Report Developer location: New York City Jobtype: Permanent Rate: up to $110K Primary Skills: Business Objects, BO XI, BOXI Description: Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or related business field, or equivalent experience  Experience in at least 3-4 multiple full life cycles of Business Objects implementations  8-10 years of experience in BI / Business Objects XI R2 / XI3 implementations, from end-to-end of the life cycle, starting with the requirements and through the fielding of the system  Must have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities in a data warehouse environment  Must have the ability to work collaborate in the BI team sometimes with minimal supervision  Must have experience working on multiple, overlapping projects  Work cooperatively with other IT specialists, developers, business analysts, DBA’s, ETL specialists, end users, and other resources as required  Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines  7+ year’s technical expertise in Business Objects XI2 and XI3, utilizing the full BI Suite for Development.  Prior experience and extensive expertise in Universe Design, WebIntelligence, Crystal Reports, Xcelsius & VBA development  Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, universe schemas  Expertise in data validation, data analysis & data testing  Certifications and/or advanced training in Business Objects. Must be of a recent nature  Expertise in the techniques, tips, tricks involving BI/DW design, development, testing, fielding, and troubleshooting.
