Description:    Hands on Lead Senior Oracle DBA from a large/complex Oracle shop with production support that is 24/7.

 

10 years of applicable experience and the following:

 

-Production support experience within a sizeable organization with a large number of databases.

-Oracle 11G database administration.

-Oracle internals knowledge - SGA, latches, table and index partitioning, etc.

-SQL tuning experience.

 

-Some exposure to task automation.

-Able to identify issues and recommend and implement solutions.

-Oracle Database Tuning and Performance

 

-Experience in managing RAC and ASM.

-Configuration and support of Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Golden Gate.

-Oracle back-up and recovery configuration and procedures.

-Oracle Enterprise Manager.

-Knowledge of enterprise data architecture principles.

10+ years of experience with policy, privacy, or security issues at a mid to senior level for a company with significant to dedicated online presence·

Demonstrate 3-5 years management experience related to the privacy field

In depth knowledge and experience with privacy models and industry practices

Familiarity with Internet technologies, e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and database structures and workflow

Strong familiarity with privacy laws, regulation, frameworks and self-regulatory models

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, which includes a great sense of humor!

Proven track record of successful cross-group collaboration and familiarity with matrixed management frameworks

Proactive work ethic and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects

Self-starter with superior implementation skills

Practical, strategic, visionary thinker with superb detail management

 

Preferred Qualifications

CIPP or CIPM certification

Solid exposure to legal principles, whether through formal legal training or a track record of working in compliance or related functions

Technical or related degree

 

Leads the Privacy team, which is responsible for recommending, implementing and overseeing global policies and procedures that enhance our users’ privacy, safety and advertising experiences. The members of this team partner with internal groups including product, engineering, legal and public policy to ensure that a holistic approach is taken to matters that impact user trust, and that policy considerations are integrated within product lifecycle and governance systems.
