In this key role you will serve as the primary new business generator, spending a majority of your time in the market selling. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Payroll Manager will lead the Payroll and Stock functions for the organization. This position will ensure multi-state payrolls for Corporate and subsidiary companies utilizing ADP Enterprise. . Direct supervision of Sr. Payroll Administrator that is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll.
. Work with all levels of Corporate Human Resources to write and enforce policies related to taxable fringe and compensation benefits.
. Prepare workers' compensation schedules for annual audit, and work with outside insurance auditor conducting the audit.
. Full responsibility for Stock Option plans, including issuing grants and processing all employee exercises using Transcentive software.
. Responsibility to process and post all month-end general ledger entries related to payroll accounts for Corporate using SAP financial system.
. Full responsibility of company ESPP plan, including tracking employee contributions and quarterly purchases.
. Main contact for 401(k) administration as it relates to payroll, including assisting with mid-year and year-end non-discrimination testing.
. Process any necessary year-end adjustments, including Expat and relocation payments.
. Create ReportSmith Reports for Finance Department as required.
. Sets up new states for tax purposes as required.
. Ensures payroll records are updated and reports on any matters of interest.
. Assure compliance with company pay policies and government regulations as well as the confidentiality and integrity of payroll information.
. Calculate and prepare manual checks, on an as needed basis, ensuring compliance with current federal, state and local tax regulations.
. Process federal and state wage attachments, garnishments and child support orders as required.
. Process reimbursements under company benefit programs in accordance with company policy for accuracy.
. Auditing of multi-state taxes prepared by ADP.
