Job Description:	Sr. Accountant - 60-68K The Corporate Finance department is looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for senior accounting and analysis responsibilities including: Responsible for the month-end close process monthly and accounting and analysis of various assigned divisions/departments in NY. Financial policy & procedures Review and maintain Corporate account analyses Responsible for the annual budget and monthly forecast process. Perform budget/forecast to actual analysis and investigate variances. Interact with business segments and department heads as necessary. Act as liaison between Finance and business segments and other corporate departments in New York. Prepare needed support and documentation for financial/operational audits and bank presentations. Other special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required 5+ years experience in finance/accounting Prior media experience preferred. CPA or MBA preferred but not required Detail oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and exhibit strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required Solomon General Ledger applications experience a plus.

The Cost Accountant has responsibility to develop and implement cost accounting procedures and methods.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility to develop and implement cost accounting procedures and methods.
2. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and audits
3. Develop labor/overhead rates and complete all documentation and testing
4. Ensure all items have standards; review BOM/Routers for Cost Requirements
5. Ensure that the cycle count process is being completed accurately and timely
6. Examine and report purchase price variance and work order variance
7. Champion Physical Inventory process planning, audit management to ensure an accurate inventory completion
8. Champion SOX program through SOX audit; maintain accurate documentation and update the system
9. Transmit close information and account reconciliations at month end close

Qualifications:

� Bachelors degree required; 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing
� Strong leadership and analytical skills with experience in cost accounting
� Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
� BPCS experience a plus
� Results driven with emphasis on keeping commitments
� Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct
� Team based work philosophy
