Description
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating FPGA (space constraints), electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems. The person in this position also
Determines design approaches and parameters.
Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support development.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have a
Bachelor Degree in a related discipline plus 5 years of directly related experience.
A Masters Degree in related discipline along with 3 years experience is preferred.

You must also possess the following skills

Programming skills including embedded software, basic knowledge of networking and wireless technology a plus.
Basic hardware troubleshooting ability including analog and RF components and circuits.
Have been responsible for radio product functional and performance testing, test data analysis, test script and procedure development, embedded firmware development.
Provided the execution of the software development process, where appropriate.
High-level and detailed embedded software/firmware design, development and documentation preparation.
Software/firmware component integration.
Hardware and software system integration.
Participation in peer reviews.
Identifying, tracking and repairing defects.

Candidate Must Have :
* Security Clearance - Secret
* Bachelor Degree in a related discipline

Systems Architect Military Communication Subsystems
Description:
Architect Military Communications Systems from initial concepts through execution and delivery with focus on tactical voice and data communications integration into larger networks. This position will;
Include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, schedule, and risk analysis for the total system.
Performance of detailed analysis at all levels of the system, including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensure the conversion of customer requirements, including informal requirements, into total systems solutions that balance the technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Perform the functional analysis, scheduling, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and technical interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications for sub system teams.
Work directly with customers, sales team, program management, and product engineering teams.

Be highly motivated, a self starter, and be able to operate with little supervision in diverse environments
Qualifications:

BSEE/BSCE and 5+ years of experience or Masters Degree and 3+ years of experience.
Understanding of Radio communications infrastructure and systems.
Responsibilities:

Proposal generation
System design using customer hardware and software specifications.
System program management including direct customer interaction will be required during system design, build and verification phases.

Communications standards (ATM, Frame Relay, T1/E1)

Job Description:
Responsible for research, design, and development of computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development.
Requires the application of the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Consults with electrical or mechanical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements of the overall system.

Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.
Familiarity with C programming language is required.
