Position Description: Performance Test Engineer: Responsible for
ensuring that our ERP, HR, and Web applications are efficient,
scalable, and stable under various conditions. There is a possibility
for extension.

S/he will be driving the performance test program, so the candidate
must be very hands-on and highly skilled.

This req is specifically for a Performance Test Engineer with hands
on experience needing (in order of importance):
1) Creating Performance Test Plans
2) Creating Load Runner Scripts
3) Analyzing the results and system performance based upon testing
4) Past experience with ERP financial applications

Responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and execute customized LoadRunner scripts and
scenarios using various protocols.
- Analyze performance test results including all metrics captured and
report results to various audiences.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve performance problems in all
stages of development and in the live production systems.
- Optimization of all aspects of application software, operating
systems (Unix/Linux and Windows) and integrated distributed systems.
- Support Development Team and DBA Team on performance-related
design, development, and validation.
- Develop tools to aid in all of the preceding functions.

Additional Information: An understanding of the key metrics needed
to evaluate the performance of ERP, Web and HR applications.
3+ years experience with one or more of the following: C, C++, C#,
VB.
3+ years creating and executing scripts with LoadRunner with multiple
protocols.
Knowledge of SQL.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with scripting language (Perl, vbScript, etc).
BA/BS, or equivalent experience, in a technical discipline such as
Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics.

Quality Assurance Lead
Overall Experience: 10+ Yrs.
Position Description: This position is part management, part hands on QA work. QA Leads with Business Analysis backgrounds is a plus. At least 20% of the time will include project planning, estimation, project processes, offshore vendor management, etc.
The remaining time the person will create test cases, review test cases, identify - critical test cases in consultation with business,
execute sample test cases, create/review automated tests etc.

S/he needs fairly good automation experience. They will have to create data driven scripts. Application is creation/management of
Indices (e.g S&P 500). Browser based application.

The candidate must have Java and SQL programming languages

There is a chance for extension past 6 months

Position:
- Demonstrates knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices,
processes, and software testing tools.
- Has understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (RUP
preferred), quality assurance concepts, and manual and automated
testing and regression techniques.
- Has specialized product or technical (tools) knowledge including
Mercury tools (LoadRunner, QTP, Quality Center), SQL, and some
programming languages.
- Has experience of regular use of Oracle Relational Database
Management Systems, spreadsheets, script language, Internet concepts
and languages, java technologies, and GUI-based software testing
tools.

Must be detail-oriented with solid written and verbal communication
skills. Has the ability to work well in a team environment, including
the ability to work with business users to understand their
requirements, and group facilitation skills. Strong preference for
experience working with offshore vendors.
