Job Requirements:

BEA WebLogic Administrator for Fixed Income Trading Systems. The responsibilities include working directly with development and infrastructure teams on building, deploying, maintaining and supporting WL environments. This individual must have the ability to install, configure and administer Web logic. Prior development experience is a plus. This individual should have a sound foundation of web infrastructure and Internet technologies. In addition, strong experience with Java and J2EE components. This candidate should also have the ability to identify and reccommend performance tuning measures. This candidate will be responsible for adhering to the SDLC process for Web Logic related projects. Individual should have a strong knowledge of UNIX (various platforms), scripting (Perl, bsh, ksh, HTML, XML) and release management procedures.

Sr. Electronic Trading Systems Developer

The programmer/analyst’s primary responsibility will be maintenance and enhancement of Foreign Exchange and metals trading systems as a member of a fast passed development team. Candidates with prior algorithmic trading or electronic arbitrage experience are desired to support and grow our existing electronic trading business. Knowledge of FX and metals markets is required. Candidates must be hands on technologists with strong object oriented development and design skills. Java and C++ are used heavily in the existing platforms so proficiency in both is essential.

Skill Required:

· Must have good verbal and written communication skills

· 5+ years of Object Oriented Programming experience in Java/C++

· Knowledge of messaging, networking and multi-threaded programming

· Foreign Exchange and metals trading system experience is required

· Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows environments

· Database programming experience

Skills Desired:

· Electronic arbitrage and algorithmic trading experience are big pluses.

· Knowledge of FIX protocol and FIX engines is a big plus (Transactools is preferable)

· Familiarity with JMS and other messaging technologies (TIBCO EMS is preferable)

· Familiarity with DBMS (Sybase is preferable)

· Familiarity with XML

· Strong GUI design and development skills in Java or .Net are a big pluses

· Experience with BrokerTec or eSpeed is a big plus

Permanent: Base to $120K Bonus at or above 30%.

Responsible for the development of Investment Management/Risk Analytics business line applications. Sr. level Hardcore Java Developer with strong architectural and design skills. Contribute to the design, development and testing of a Fixed Income Portfolio/Risk Management related systems and applications. Programs supported range from above-average complexity to very complex. Supports the daily acitivity of the Business Areas by creating and maintaining custom reports and programs.

Specific Technical Knowledge and Experience Required:

· An expert in Java – all around. All tiers of Java, superior knowledge of Java/Swing, J2EE, JMS. EJB, JConnect, Weblogic. Must be very strong with OO design

• Superior knowledge of relational database environment, Sybase
• Knowledge of UNIX environment, Solaris preferred
• Knowledge of Client-Server concepts (3-tier architecture concepts preferred) and GUI development concepts required.

Specific Business Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Has business and technical knowledge of investment processes. Uses solid business knowledge to develop rapid proactive solutions for significant business issues. Clearly understands purposes, objectives, practices, and procedures of the department and business units.
• Maintains solid knowledge of corporate and departmental information system strategies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in systems analysis of business requirements
• Has advanced written and oral communication skills, experience making presentations to senior management and ability to conduct meetings and training sessions.
